These Terms of Service govern access to Cresco Grants operated by Cresco Group Holdings Ltd. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.

2. Acceptance

You accept these terms when you register, click to agree, or continue using the service after we publish updates. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

3. Eligibility and registration

You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Permitted use

You may use the platform to research grants, manage applications, collaborate with your team, and use assistive AI features in line with your subscription and role permissions.

5. Prohibited use

You must not misuse the service, including by:

• attempting unauthorised access or disrupting infrastructure;
• uploading unlawful, infringing, or malicious content;
• scraping or reselling the service without permission;
• misrepresenting eligibility or impersonating funders.

6. Your information and documents

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, back up, and display that content solely to provide and improve the service, including AI features you invoke.

7. AI and automated outputs

AI-generated suggestions, drafts, and match scores are informational. You are responsible for reviewing accuracy, eligibility, and compliance before submitting applications to funders.

8. No guarantee of funding

Cresco Grants helps identify and prepare grant opportunities. We do not:

• guarantee eligibility for any grant;
• guarantee successful submission to a funder;
• guarantee approval, award, or payment of grant funding;
• act as the grant-awarding body; or
• provide legal, tax, accounting, or professional funding advice.

Seek independent professional advice where required.

9. Third-party funders and links

Grant programmes and external sites are operated by third parties. We are not responsible for their requirements, deadlines, or decisions.

10. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans, trials, and renewals are described at checkout and in your account billing area. Fees are processed by Stripe subject to their terms. You may cancel according to your plan and applicable consumer rights.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach, security risk, or non-payment. You may stop using the service and request account closure via support.

12. Intellectual property

We own the platform, branding, and underlying software. These terms do not transfer our IP to you.

13. Availability

We aim for reliable service but may perform maintenance or experience outages. Features may change as the product evolves.

14. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties where lawful.

15. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Subject to that, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred pounds (GBP), except for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

16. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, misuse of the service, or breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.

18. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
